quick and easy

Trim the green beans and cut them in half or thirds. Peel the onion and garlic. Dice them along with the cooked ham. Heat a large pot of salted water. Add the beans, tagliatelle, and savory, and cook covered for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the diced onion until golden brown. Add the garlic and cooked ham and sauté briefly. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes. Add the cream cheese, melt it, and mix. Drain the tagliatelle and beans, discarding the savory. Add it to the sauce and mix everything together. If you want a little more sauce, stir in a little more cream. You can, of course, use more or less cream cheese, depending on your taste. Season to taste, arrange on plates, and serve.
