Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 75 g bacon, diced
- 500 g onion(s), diced
- 2 apples, diced
- 250 g flour
- 1 egg yolk
- 4 tbsp water
- 125 g butter, cold
- some cheese, grated to taste
- 4 eggs
- 150 ml cream
- salt and pepper
- Caraway seeds
- Thyme

Fry the bacon. Add the onions and sauté until translucent. Add the apples and fry lightly. Make a batter with flour, egg yolk, water, a pinch of salt, and butter. Grated cheese can be added to taste. Grease a springform pan and line it with batter. Bake for 10 minutes at 180°C. Whisk the eggs with the cream and grated cheese. Season with salt, pepper, caraway seeds, and thyme. Spread the onion mixture on the base, pour over the ice cream, and bake for another 30-45 minutes.
