Onion and orange salad with yellow sausage

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 oranges
  • 2 large onions
  • 300 g sausage (yellow sausage)
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp pepper, green, whole
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Peel the oranges directly along the flesh, removing the bitter white pith. Peel the onions and slice them very thinly. Remove the skin from the yellow sausage and slice it as well. Mix the white wine vinegar with salt, sugar, crushed garlic clove, and oil. Slice the oranges and place them in a bowl with the onion rings and yellow sausage slices. Pour the marinade over them and sprinkle with crushed green pepper.
