Onion Beer Bread

  • 3 Onions
  • 300 ml Beer
  • 500 g Whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 packet Dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp Bread seasoning mix
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  1. Dice the onion and fry in a neutral oil until golden and deglaze with beer. Then work all the ingredients, except the egg, into a dough and let rise for about 45 minutes.
  2. Knead the dough again and place in a greased and floured loaf pan. Brush with the beaten egg and cut several times on the surface. Let the dough rise for another 30 minutes and then bake for 1 hour at 200 ° C.
