Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 500 ml buttermilk
  • 100 g onion(s) (fried onions)
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in a cup. Combine the flour, salt, fried onions, and buttermilk. Add the dissolved yeast and mix thoroughly. Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan and bake immediately at 200°C for 45 minutes.
