Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g wheat flour type 405
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • n. B. Add lukewarm water as needed
  • 1,000 g onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 150 g bacon
  • 2 cups sour cream, 150 – 200 g each
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

For the yeast dough, mix the flour, yeast, salt, and oil and knead into a smooth dough, adding lukewarm water. Then let it rise. For the topping, dice the bacon and fry in oil. Slice the onions, add them, and sauté until translucent; they should brown slightly. Let the mixture cool slightly and mix with the sour cream and eggs. Season to taste. Roll out the yeast dough evenly and place it on a baking sheet. Spread the topping on top and let it rise briefly. Bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes. Serve with Federweißer.
