Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 large onions
- some oil
- 4 slices of salami
- 1 egg(s)
- 2 tbsp cream
- 50 g Edam cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
- 2 slices of bread

was created by my friend Micha when he wanted to quickly satisfy his hunger for onion cake
Sauté the thinly sliced onions in oil, add the sliced salami. Let cool, then add the egg, cream, and cheese; mix well, and season with salt and pepper. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat), spread the mixture on the bread, and bake for about 10 minutes. Just like a proper onion tart, it goes well with a Federweißer (a kind of beer).
