Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 500 g onion(s)
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 jar white wine
- 500 ml vegetable stock
- 1 cup of cream
- Salt and pepper from the mill
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- oregano
- basil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Heat the butter in a saucepan and sweat the peeled and thinly sliced onions until translucent. Dust the onions with flour, deglaze with white wine, add the vegetable stock, and simmer over moderate heat for 15-20 minutes. Stir in the cream and bring to a boil. Season to taste. Stir in the washed and finely chopped herbs.
