Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 500 g onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 jar white wine
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 cup of cream
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • oregano
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Heat the butter in a saucepan and sweat the peeled and thinly sliced ​​onions until translucent. Dust the onions with flour, deglaze with white wine, add the vegetable stock, and simmer over moderate heat for 15-20 minutes. Stir in the cream and bring to a boil. Season to taste. Stir in the washed and finely chopped herbs.
