Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 100 g cheese (Edam), grated
  • butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

the ultimate finger food

Peel the onions and dice very finely, season with a little salt and pepper. Dust with flour. Add the eggs, sour cream, and grated cheese, and mix everything well. Heat the butter. Using a teaspoon, place small biscuits in the pan and fry for 5-8 minutes until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Drain on a paper towel and let cool. The onion biscuits can be made a day ahead. Then, like biscuits, store them with layers of baking paper or bread paper between them, loosely covered and not in an airtight container, otherwise they will go soft. You can serve them with any kind of dip, but they are also delicious on their own.
