Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 fish(s) (redfish, 150 g each)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 600 g onion(s) (vegetable onions)
- 100 g bacon, streaky
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- Paprika powder, sweet

Redfish with onion vegetables
Rinse the fish under cold running water, pat dry, drizzle with lemon juice, and let stand for about 15 minutes. Peel the onions, quarter them, and slice them into strips. Dice the bacon. Heat the butter. Fry the bacon cubes in it, add the onion strips, and sauté thoroughly. Season with salt, pepper, and sweet paprika. Simmer in a covered pan for about 5 minutes. Stir in the crème fraîche and season with salt, pepper, and paprika to taste. Pat the fish fillets dry. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika, place them on the onion mixture, and sauté in a covered pan for 7-9 minutes. Turn the fish fillets over halfway through cooking.
