Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 waffles (rice cakes) plain
  • 1 small onion(s), red
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • ¼ tsp ginger, freshly chopped
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika powder
  • 1 pinch(s) cumin
  • some water
  • 1 small garlic clove(s), optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Crumble the rice cakes into small crumbs by hand. Dice the onion. Mix the onion pieces with the rice cake pieces and the spices. Add a little water a little at a time until the mixture becomes moist. Mix the rice cake mixture with the tomato paste and oil. Add a little more garlic, if desired. Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for about half an hour before serving.
