Onion-sage rice

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 onions, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 5 leaves sage, cut into strips
  • 1 cup rice (100 g)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup white wine
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

goes well with liver and red onions

Sauté the onions in melted butter. Add the sage leaves and sauté briefly. Add the rice and sauté until translucent. Add water and white wine, season lightly with salt, and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
