Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g ladyfingers
  • 2 oranges
  • 500 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 2 tbsp Cointreau
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 25 minutes

Line the sides of a bowl with ladyfingers. Peel and segment the oranges, then arrange the orange segments around the biscuits. Take 4 tablespoons of the milk and whisk it with the cornstarch until smooth. Bring the remaining milk to a boil with the sugar and ground almonds, then stir in the cornstarch mixture and continue stirring until the pudding thickens. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the egg and liqueur. Pour the pudding into the prepared dish with the ladyfingers and oranges, smooth it down, and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Garnish with toasted almond flakes before serving.
