Orange and Amaretto Sponge Cake

The perfect orange and amaretto sponge cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 piece Oranges
  • 50 ml Amaretto
  • 500 g Mascarpone
  • 500 g Cream curd
  • 8 piece Apricots fresh
  • 100 g Ladyfingers
  1. For the orange-amaretto sponge cake, squeeze 2 oranges and mix with approx. 50 ml amaretto.
  1. Mix the mascarpone and quark well with the whisk until frothy. Chop the apricots with the remaining oranges, puree and refine with a little amaretto.
  1. Crumble the biscuits into the juice of the oranges and let them steep. Layer the cream, fruit pulp and biscuit alternately in a bowl.
