Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g butter
- ½ orange(s), untreated
- 6 sprigs basil
- some salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
Place the butter in a bowl and let it come to room temperature. Wash the basil, spin dry, pick off the leaves, and roughly chop. Wash the orange, zest half of it, and then squeeze the juice from half of it. Stir the basil, orange juice, and zest into the butter and season with salt and pepper. Place the butter on cling film, roll it into a log, and refrigerate it, keeping it sealed. Let it set again.
