Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 120 g powdered sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 375 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pack of orange peel
  • 2 tbsp orange juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

(shortcrust pastry)

Combine powdered sugar, butter, spices, and orange juice until smooth. Briefly knead in the flour, then chill the dough in the refrigerator. Knead the dough again briefly and roll out to the desired thickness. Cut out cookies using various shapes (e.g., Easter cookie cutters, etc., depending on the season). Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool, then cover with a glaze (e.g., powdered sugar and orange juice). Decorate as desired.
