succeeds easily

Mix the flour with the baking powder and sift into a mixing bowl. Add the instant jam, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, butter, grated orange zest, egg yolk, and orange juice and knead with a dough hook until a smooth dough forms. Knead briefly on a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into 4 pieces, shape each into a thin roll (approx. 2 cm in diameter), and chill for at least 3 hours. Cut the rolls into slices approximately 1 cm thick. Place the slices on baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake for approx. 13 minutes at 180°C. Once cooled, spread with a thick glaze made from powdered sugar and orange juice and immediately sprinkle with candied orange peel. Alternatively, strain the jam through a sieve, bring to a boil briefly, and mix with the powdered sugar to form a glaze. I prefer the version with orange juice.
