Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 oranges
- 300 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 2 bags of chocolate glaze
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, vanilla sugar, and the grated orange zest. Mix the flour and baking powder and gradually stir into the egg mixture. Pour the finished batter into a prepared loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) (gas mark 2) for about 1 hour. Juice the oranges, pierce the warm cake several times, and drizzle with the orange juice. Let cool and then cover with the chocolate glaze.
