Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g butter
  • 75 g sugar
  • 60 g flour (wheat flour, type 405)
  • 75 g cane sugar
  • 75 ml orange juice

Cream soft butter with the “regular” granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Wrap the dough ball in foil and chill overnight. Scoop out a teaspoonful and spread it out thinly and ovally or even circularly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (caution: the dough will still spread!). Bake at 150°C (preheated) for about 10 minutes. Let cool on the baking paper. Tip: These cookies are delicious on their own – but also delicious with creamy desserts – e.g., with raspberry or wild berry quark cream, honey or cinnamon ice cream, or similar (just like ice cream cones in a sundae).
