Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 140 g butter
  • 120 g powdered sugar
  • 140 g flour, smooth
  • 1 orange(s), grated peel, untreated
  • 2 medium-sized egg yolks
  • 1 m.-sized eggs
  • some jam, apricot
  • 150 g chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 190°C (top/bottom heat). Cream the lukewarm butter with the icing sugar and orange zest until fluffy. Stir in the egg and egg yolks. Carefully fold in the flour. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a smooth nozzle and pipe small krapfeln onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15 minutes until light brown. Once cooled, sandwich the two halves together with apricot jam and dip halfway into melted chocolate coating.
