Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g rock sugar, brown
- 250 ml white wine, dry
- 4 small orange(s), organic
- 2 stalks of lemongrass
- 6 pieces star anise
- 700 ml vodka, soft 40%

Bring the sugar, wine, and 250 ml water to a boil and reduce to a syrupy consistency in about 5-8 minutes. Thinly slice the orange zest, halve the oranges, squeeze the juice, and measure out 250 ml of juice. Halve the lemongrass lengthwise and cut several times. Add the orange zest, juice, lemongrass, and star anise to the syrup, mix, and let cool. Pour the vodka into the orange syrup, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 days. Strain the mixture through a very fine sieve or cheesecloth, pour into attractive decorative bottles, and keep refrigerated.
