Orange marmalade with lemons

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 large oranges
  • 4 large lemons
  • 1.8 liters of water
  • 1 kg sugar
  • 250 g cane sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the oranges and lemons and dice them very finely, including the peel. Place them in a large pot with the water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer with the lid on for about 1.5 hours. Then add the two types of sugar and stir until melted. Bring back to a boil and simmer until the jam is cooked (takes about 1-2 hours). Skim off the foam and let the jam stand for 15 minutes. Then pour into prepared, sterile jars and seal tightly. Keeps for 3 to 4 months.
