Orange Mouse with Amarena Cherries

The perfect orange mouse with amarena cherries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Pc. Eggs
  • 200 ml Whipped cream
  • 1 Pc. Orange
  • 2 sheet Gelatin
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 Pc. Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • Amarena cherries
  1. Separate the eggs. Beat egg whites with half of the sugar until stiff. Whip the whipped cream without sugar until stiff.
  2. Wash the orange and rub the peel, squeeze out the juice.
  3. Soak gelatine in lukewarm water for 5 minutes
  4. Beat the egg yolks with the remaining sugar and vanilla sugar in the steam bath with a whisk until lightly foamy.
  5. Add gelatine to the egg yolk, stir well.
  6. Add orange juice and orange peel, stir well.
  7. Now place the bowl in cold water and keep stirring until the mixture is lukewarm.
  8. Gradually fold in the egg whites and whipped cream.
  9. Put the mixture in the refrigerator overnight.
