Orange Mousse
The perfect orange mousse recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 piece Oranges untreated
- 3 piece Eggs
- 100 g Sugar
- 25 g Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Schuss Grand Marnier, wenn keien Kinder mitessen
- Wash oranges well and dry them. Scrape off the skin. Squeeze the oranges, we need 2.5dl jus.
- Separate the eggs, put the yolks and 75g sugar in a pan and whisk vigorously. Add the flour, half of the orange zest and the gravy. Bring gently to a boil, stirring constantly. When the mass thickens, remove it from the fire immediately and let it cool down, stirring from time to time so that it does not form a skin.
- Beat the egg white with a pinch of salt until stiff, add the remaining sugar and whip again. Carefully pull the stiff egg white into the orange mixture. Possibly add Grand Marnier. Fill into dessert glasses and put in the refrigerator for a few hours. (Can be prepared a good day before consumption.) Before serving, sprinkle with orange peel or top with orange fillets.
