Oriental avocado dip

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 avocado(s)
  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 5 tsp sesame seeds
  • 100 ml water
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp spice mix (Za’atar) or thyme
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, finely grind the sesame seeds in a blender. Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Add the flesh and the remaining ingredients to the blender and blend until the spread reaches a creamy consistency. Season with spices, salt, and pepper to taste. Tastes delicious as a spread on bread, as a dip for raw vegetables, or as an addition to grilled food.
