Oriental Date – Rice

The perfect oriental date – rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 360 g Rice
  • 0,9 dl Water
  • 1,5 tsp Salt
  • 200 g Pitted dates
  • 100 g Almond sticks
  • 1,5 Tl 5-Spice Gewürz aus meinem KB
  • 0,5 Tl Garam masala

Coconut – curry sauce

  • 500 ml Coconut milk
  • 2 Tl Purple Curry from my KB
  • 2 Tl Curry hot
  • A little curry sAuce powder from the bAg

Chicken Breast

  • 4 piece Chicken Breast
  • Chicken Magic from my KB

Oriental date rice

  1. Cut the dates into quarters
  1. Add rice, dates, almond sticks and all the spices to the water, bring to the boil and turn off the stove. Let the rice stand in the covered pan for about 20 minutes (until it is cooked and the water has been used up). Stir in between.

Coconut curry sauce

  1. Boil coconut milk and curries into a sauce Thicken the sauce with curry sauce from the bag. Bring in the spiciness according to your own taste.

Chicken Breast

  1. Season and fry the chicken breasts
  1. Tip 5: if you like, you can also cook 3 tablespoons of raisins in the rice
