Spicy Oriental Style Meatballs with Date Cream Cheese Dip

Meatballs

  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander leaves
  • 15 Mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Harissa
  • 2 tablespoon Jalapeño oil
  • 1 Onion red
  • 2 tablespoon Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 2 Garlic cloves

Dip

  • 300 g Cream cheese double cream setting
  • 2 tablespoon Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Harissa
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 6 Dates
  • 1 teaspoon Jalapeño oil
  • Salt

Meatballs

  1. Chop the mint and coriander with a chopping knife. Chop the garlic and the onion into small pieces. Add these ingredients to the minced meat.
  2. Mix with the harissa and creme fraiche.
  3. Shape into meatballs with damp hands and fry.

Dip

  1. Core the dates, cut them into small pieces and add to the cream cheese with the creme fraiche.
  2. Add the chopped garlic clove, harissa and jalapeno oil and mix well. Season to taste with salt.
