Oriental Harissa Mince Pan

The perfect oriental harissa mince pan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Mixed minced meat
  • 2 piece Onions
  • 1 Pc. Clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp Harissa paste
  • 0,5 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 Pc. Zucchini
  • 1 Can Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 200 ml Water
  • Salt pepper
  • Some oil
  1. Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Fry with the minced meat in a little heated oil in a pan for a few minutes. Dice zucchini and add. Stir in tomato paste, toast briefly, then pour in chopped tomatoes. Stir in harissa.
  2. Add cumin, salt and pepper. Pour in enough water (approx. 200 ml) so that it does not become too runny. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. If you want, you can add 1 teaspoon of vegetable stock powder. If you like it spicier, just add a little more harissa.
  4. This fits e.g. bulgur, couscous, flatbread, rice etc. Instead of zucchini you can of course also use other vegetables.
