Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 250 g rice (long grain rice)
- 2 onions
- 70 g margarine
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 4 tbsp tomato paste
- 500 g mushrooms
- 300 g pineapple
- 5 bananas
- 200 g sour cream
- 100 g crème fraîche or crème fine
- 400 ml whipped cream
- 2 tbsp curry
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook the rice according to the instructions and set aside. Finely dice the onions and fry them in margarine, then add the minced meat. Finally, season the mixture with tomato paste, salt, and pepper. Slice the mushrooms and fry them in the margarine, season with spices, add to the minced meat mixture, and mix. Finally, chop the pineapple, fold it in with the rice, and place everything in a greased baking dish. Slice the bananas and spread them over the casserole. Mix the curry with the cream and crème fraîche (the mixture should be thick), season to taste, and pour over the casserole. Bake at 200°C for about 30 minutes.
