Ostrich Liver on Lamb’s Lettuce (Sebastian)

The perfect ostrich liver on lamb’s lettuce (sebastian) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

salad

  • 200 g Lamb’S lettuce
  • 100 g Cocktail tomatoes

dressing

  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 5 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Cream

For the liver

  • 5 disc Ostrich liver
  • 4 tbsp Wheat flour
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Wash the lamb’s lettuce and spin dry. Wash the cocktail tomatoes and then cut them in half. Place the lamb’s lettuce in the middle of two plates and spread the halved tomatoes over them. Make the salad dressing from the ingredients and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Now heat a little olive oil in a pan, roll the liver in flour and knock off the excess flour. Fry the liver briefly (!) In the olive oil and then season with salt and pepper. Pour the dressing over the lettuce and tomatoes and also place the liver on the plate. If you like, you can also serve two slices of white bread with it.
