Oven schnitzel topped with paprika

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 5 schnitzels (minute steaks)
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 400 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 g Gouda, grated
  • 1 pack of sauce powder
  • Thyme
  • oil
  • n. B. Pfeffer
  • e.g. paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan/convection oven). Wash the schnitzels, pat dry, and season with paprika, pepper, etc., as desired. Then place the schnitzels side by side in a greased baking dish. Finely chop the peppers and fry in a little fat. Deglaze with cream and dissolved vegetable stock. Stir in the sauce powder, bring to a boil, and season with thyme and spices, to taste. Simmer everything for about a minute. Spread the paprika sauce over the schnitzels, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake the schnitzels in the oven for 30 minutes. Serve with tagliatelle and vegetables, briefly steamed without seasoning.
