Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg schnitzel meat, diced
  • 6 large onions
  • 2 jars of sliced ​​mushrooms, 530 g drained weight each or 500 g fresh mushrooms
  • 2 bell peppers, red, OR.
  • 2 jars of tomato peppers, each 165 g drained weight
  • 500 g peas, frozen
  • 1 can pineapple, in pieces, 490 g drained weight
  • 2 bottles of chili sauce, 320 g each
  • 1 liter of cream
  • ½ bottle of ketchup (curry ketchup)
  • ¾ liter of water, approx.
  • salt and pepper
  • broth, instant

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours

Party recipe

Season the diced meat with salt and pepper and sprinkle with granulated stock. Add the diced onions, bell peppers, mushrooms with liquid (if jarred), and peas. Add the pineapple chunks and top with the chili sauce, cream, and curry ketchup. Cover with water and stir. Cover and cook in the oven at approximately 175°C for 2.5 hours. If it’s too spicy, add a little pineapple juice to reduce the heat.
