Pa amb oli deluxe

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slice(s) farmer’s bread, rustic
  • 1 beefsteak tomato(s)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 handfuls of arugula
  • 4 slices of Serrano ham
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan, sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Balsamic cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 minute; Total time approx. 11 minutes

Toast the slices of bread in the toaster until well browned. Then halve the tomato and rub the cut side over the bread until it’s nicely browned (or just lightly, which will keep the bread crispier—depending on your taste). Then drizzle with a little olive oil, sprinkle with crushed garlic, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with arugula, shredded Serrano ham, and Parmesan cheese. Finally, drizzle with balsamic vinegar. It’s not typically Spanish, but it’s absolutely delicious!
