Ingredients for 4 servings:
- ½ liter white wine, sweet
- 8 eggs
- 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
- 1 tsp sugar
Instructions

Whisk the white wine and egg yolks thoroughly. Add the cinnamon and heat, whisking continuously with a hand mixer, until the sauce thickens. Then remove from the heat. Beat the 8 egg whites with a teaspoon of sugar until stiff peaks form. Remove the cinnamon from the sauce and lightly fold the beaten egg whites into the sauce with a fork. The sauce is often served lukewarm with steamed dumplings, rice pudding, or semolina casserole.
