Pan bread made from spelt flour

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g spelt flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar baking powder
  • 3 g Himalayan salt
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 450 g yogurt, 3.8%
  • some olive oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

makes about 12 pieces

Mix the flour with the baking powder. Then add the remaining ingredients and mix everything with the dough hook of a hand mixer until a soft dough forms. Cover and let rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle a little flour on the work surface or a large plate. Using a tablespoon, scoop out 12 pieces, place them on the flour, turn them over, and place them back on the flour. Flatten and shape with your fingertips. Heat a little olive oil in a pan, add the flatbreads, and brown at 3/4 of the heat. Turn them over and cook the other side.
