Pan-fried fish Nicoises

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g fish (pollock, hake or redfish)
  • 2 bunch spring onions
  • 300 g mushrooms
  • 250 ml milk (canned milk)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Clean the fish thoroughly. Finely chop the spring onions and mushrooms. In a large, lidded pan, alternate layers of fish, spring onions, and mushrooms. Season each layer well and finally pour the canned milk over the fish. Cover the pan and bring to a boil, then simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve with rice and salad.
