Pan-fried potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 potatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 jar white wine
  • 8 tbsp olive oil
  • a few stalks of parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Bakers potatoes

Fry the potatoes, cut into 4 mm thin slices, in the olive oil for about 8 minutes. Slice the onion into strips and place in a baking dish. Arrange the fried potato slices on top. Season with salt and pepper. Pour about half of the wine over the potatoes and sprinkle with the very finely chopped garlic and the also very finely chopped parsley. Roast in an oven preheated to 170°C for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, drizzle with the remaining wine and olive oil from the frying process, and return to the oven for another 10 minutes. Serve as a side dish to fish, meat, or as a tapa.
