Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 125 g flour
- 1 egg(s)
- 300 ml milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 pinch of salt

Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and egg in a small mixing bowl. Stir, gradually adding the milk to prevent lumps. Heat the pan and melt the butter. Add the melted butter to the batter. Add a teaspoon of sugar, if desired. Spread a layer of batter about 5 mm thick into a 12 cm pan, which should be well heated. This will form small bubbles or holes due to the baking powder. Wait until the batter is no longer runny, then flip it. Cook on the other side for about a third of the cooking time. (Organic) maple syrup is best served with it.
