Ingredients for 4 servings:

- 5 eggs

Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Baked in a casserole dish in the oven. According to Grandma’s recipe – she called it “Jagauf”
Dice the fatty bacon into small pieces and fry in a saucepan on the stovetop. In the meantime, mix the remaining ingredients to make a batter and then pour it into the fried bacon cubes. I always use a 600 ml mixing bowl to measure and fill it to the brim with flour and milk. Bake in the oven at 180–200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 45–50 minutes. The batter will rise during baking and will rise to the top of the pan. The pancake will be wonderfully golden brown and crispy on top, and hearty thanks to the baked-in bacon, while the middle will remain soft. We always serve it with a green salad. This recipe comes from my grandmother, born in 1919. I enjoy making it again and again and revel in childhood memories while eating it.
