Papaya Mix, Jam or Dessert
The perfect papaya mix, jam or dessert recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
or for dessert:
- 1 Pc. Pear fresh
- 1 Pc. Plum yellow
- 3 Pc. Peppermint fresh
- 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 250 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
- 100 g Sugar brown
- Remove the papaya seeds, cut into slices, score like a mango, remove the peel.
- Peel the pear, remove the core, cut into small pieces.
Mint:
- 3 Peel the leaves off the twigs, add large cut into small pieces.
- Sprinkle the pear and papaya with lemon juice.
to sugar:
- Let it steep overnight with the preserving sugar.
Tip:
- Papaya tastes best with lemon juice, that’s how I was taught in Colombia.
- Cost of papaya € 13 each.
Cook :
- Boil well, if you like, you can mix. Let simmer for 3 – 5 minutes. The plum is grateful for 5 min.
- Pour hot into glasses, screw on upside down. Turn after 5 minutes. Shelf life at least 1 year. 😉 or not.
Extra tip:
- If you take the prepared fruit with brown sugar about 100 g, you can make a wonderful dessert.
