Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 bell peppers, yellow and green
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 300 g meat, e.g. roast leftovers or sausage leftovers
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper chili
  • Paprika powder
  • chili powder
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Using leftover grilled meat and/or sausage

Dice the onions and garlic and sauté in a pan with a little fat until translucent. Dice or strip the bell peppers. Add them to the pan. Season to taste with the spices and vegetable stock. Cut the leftover meat/sausage into approximately 1 cm cubes and, when the bell peppers are soft, add them to the pan. Stir well and fry until the leftovers are hot—they’re already cooked through. Season again with more spices, perhaps with a little chili. You can also thicken the pan juices into a sauce at this point. We serve this with the spaghetti basil salad.
