Paprika Schnitzel

The perfect paprika schnitzel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Turkey meat
  • 1 piece Yellow pepper
  • 1 piece Red pepper
  • 2 piece Onion
  • 3 piece Garlic cloves
  • 5 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Sweet paprika powder
  • Hot paprika powder
  • Soup seasoning
  • Salt, possibly pepper
  1. Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into pieces. Wash the yellow and red peppers and cut into small cubes. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Mix everything in a bowl. Cut the garlic into very small pieces, add the paprika powder, sweet and hot, as well as the olive oil to the bowl.
  1. Cover the bowl well and let it stand in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
  1. Put the meat, pepper and onion mixture in a saucepan, add water and cook for about 45 minutes.
  1. Season to taste with soup spices, salt, possibly pepper and creme fraiche.
  1. If the juice is too thin: Mix 3 tablespoons of flour in a little water and stir in the juice while beating vigorously and bring to the boil again. Then it is essential to season again, as the flour binds a lot of taste.
