Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g marzipan paste
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 lemon(s) (juice and zest)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 100 g flour
  • 75 g cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ jar jelly (blackcurrant)
  • 1 cup of chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cream the marzipan with sugar, lemon juice and zest, egg, and butter. Mix in the cornstarch, baking powder, and sifted flour, spoonful by spoonful. Fill a piping bag with the creamy batter and pipe approximately 5 cm long strips onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for approximately 15 minutes. Let cool. Place two bars together with the jelly. Melt the chocolate coating and dip the bars into the chocolate coating on one side, about 1 cm deep.
