Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g quark (20%)
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp butter, liquid
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp herbs, finely chopped (frozen or fresh)
  • 100 g Parmesan, grated
  • 4 basil leaves
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Combine the curd cheese, breadcrumbs, and melted butter and season lightly with salt. Whisk the eggs, herbs, and 50g of Parmesan cheese thoroughly, stir into the curd mixture, and let rest for 5 minutes. Form the mixture into 8 dumplings and boil them in lightly salted water for 10 minutes. Remove the dumplings from the water and roll them in the remaining Parmesan cheese. Serve with sliced ​​basil.
