Party – Ham croissants with arugula

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry, frozen
  • 250 g ham
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 50 g mushrooms
  • 40 g butter
  • 1 bunch arugula
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • Salt
  • 1 egg(s), scrambled

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the ham, onion, and cleaned mushrooms into small cubes. Heat the butter, fry the onion until translucent, add the mushrooms and ham, and fry briefly. Season with salt and parsley. Mix the mixture with the chopped arugula. Roll out the puff pastry (not too thin) and cut into triangles about 7 cm in size. Place a heap of the cooled ham and arugula mixture in the center of each triangle. It shouldn’t be too hot, or the dough will stick to the worktop. Roll the triangles up to the point. Bend the rolls into croissants and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush with beaten egg and bake at a high heat (around 250°C). After a few minutes, reduce the heat and bake the croissants through. Serve hot.
