Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 ml milk
  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 1 pack of fresh yeast (42 g)
  • ½ tsp, leveled sugar
  • 125 ml water, warm
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 150 g herb cream cheese with herbs of Provence
  • Milk for brushing
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Heat the milk. Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the center. Crumble in the yeast, add the sugar, and a little water. Gently mix everything with a fork and let stand for about 10 minutes. Then add the salt, milk, cream cheese, and the remaining water. Using the dough hook of a hand mixer, knead the ingredients into a dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place until it has increased in size significantly. Lightly dust the dough with flour, remove from the bowl, and knead thoroughly with your hands again on a lightly floured surface. Form it into a log. Divide the log into 10 equal portions and place them together in a circle on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving some space between them. Cover and let rise again in a warm place until the dough pieces have increased in size significantly. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180°C. Brush the rolls with milk, place in the oven, and bake for 30-35 minutes. Tip: Knead a finely diced red bell pepper into the dough.
