Pasta and zucchini casserole with hollandaise sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g spiral noodles
  • 2 zucchini, finely chopped
  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 200 ml hollandaise sauce
  • Basil, fresh
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 dash of cream
  • possibly cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and transfer to a prepared baking dish. Sauté the onion in a pan until translucent and season with salt and pepper. Add the zucchini and sauté until translucent, then add the garlic. Add the tomatoes, season again with salt and pepper, and add the basil to taste. Add a splash of cream, thickening with cornstarch if desired. Add everything to the pasta in the baking dish and pour the hollandaise sauce over the pasta. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes.
