Pasta gratin alla carbonara

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 200 g breakfast bacon, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 400 g whipped cream
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 400 g pasta, nB
  • 60 g Parmesan cheese (piece)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. Peel and finely dice the onion. Finely chop the bacon. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bacon for about 5 minutes. Add the onion and fry briefly. Pour in 300g of cream and season with salt and pepper. Add the pasta and stir. Grate the Parmesan cheese. Whisk the egg, 100g of cream, and the Parmesan cheese. Mix into the pasta and season to taste. Place the pasta and cream sauce in a baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 200°C, fan: 175°C, gas mark 3) for 10-15 minutes. Wash the parsley, pick off the leaves, and sprinkle over the gratin.
