Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g pasta
- 100 g butter
- 400 g carrot(s)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 400 ml cream
- 250 ml water
- Salt
- pepper
- 100 g cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cook pasta according to instructions until al dente and drain. Peel and slice carrots. Peel and press garlic. Sauté the sliced carrots and garlic in hot butter; deglaze with water. Cover and cook the vegetables. Finally, add the cream, season with salt and pepper, and stir in the grated cheese. If the sauce is too thin, stir in a little light sauce thickener. Serve the pasta on the plate and add the carrot sauce.
