Pasta in Cheese Cream Sauce

The perfect pasta in cheese cream sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 gr Pasta
  • 100 g Grana Padano Parmesan
  • 100 g Cooked ham
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 1 Pc. Egg
  • 20 gr Butter
  • Salt, pepper, nutmeg from the mill
  1. Coarsely grate the Grana Padano
  2. Put the cream and egg with the grated cheese in the bowl, season with plenty of nutmeg, pepper and a little salt, whisk briefly and season to taste
  3. Dice ham
  4. Melt the butter in a large saucepan, gently fry the ham in it, add the pasta from the previous day (or, if not available, the freshly cooked and drained pasta), mix everything well
  5. While stirring, heat the pasta, turn off the stove, pour the cheese cream sauce over the pasta and stir two or three more times and you’re done
